Triangle Business Journal highlights APG Capital’s Edgewater Commons as groundbreaking nears

The Triangle Business Journal recently spotlighted APG Capital’s own Edgewater Commons, as the 60-acre planned development will get underway in the next 60 to 90 days. Wayne Hightower, President and COO of Capital Development, leads the project.  The first phase of construction features 301 apartment units across nine buildings of up to five stories, followed by 110 build-to-rent townhomes.

Edgewater Commons, located at 5000 Raleigh Beach Road off New Bern Avenue between the Beltline and Interstate 540, has been approved for up to 700 multifamily units and 200,000 square feet of commercial space.

APG Capital will be developing two commercial sites, of which one is a 19-acre parcel perfect for a grocery-anchored neighborhood center.
